Kevin D. Towns was born and raised in Southern California. He was the group leader of the men's ministry, and in addition to that, he was also trained for a position as a deacon. It was after he had resigned from his position as the instructor of the adolescent class in the Sunday school program that he felt compelled to write down his spiritual journey and his relationship with God. He had spent years looking for answers, and eventually he came to the conclusion that there was nothing he could do for God that was more important than accepting his position as His son.

Kevin considers himself to be a spiritual child of God, and he is currently persuing an understanding of what this means in a practical sense. Throughout his writings, he endeavors to articulate the application of that position from his experiences and observations. His collection has received favorable reviews for the first three titles that he has published.
